These are materials gathered and curated by Dr. Jerry Hans Hoffman, former Professor of History at Creighton University. The materials appear to cover Dr. Hoffman's research into German Field Marshals who were accused of being war criminals and how they were tried and convicted by the British. A lot of the materials in this collection appear to have attributed to Dr. Hoffman's article "German Field Marshals as War Criminals? A British Embarrassment." This collection is a uniquely curated collection of materials used by Dr. Hoffman throughout his research. Many of the materials have personal notes written by Dr. Hoffman as he read through the sources. The value of this collection is not so much in the information contained within the materials themselves, as much as it is, documenting the research process of a Creighton history professor, Dr. Jerry Hans Hoffman.
